DT4133 is a double-sided splice detection tape designed for the fastest flying splices on wide-web nonwoven lines. A BOPP / PET film carrier is coated with a high-tack hot melt adhesive and integrated with aluminium detection strips. The hot melt adhesive delivers very high initial tack, so the splice holds immediately during fast splice preparation, while the aluminium strips make the splice detectable by inline metal detection systems and the bold tape colour supports optical detection. Where a line runs at high speed across a wide web, DT4133 is the tape in the Davik splicing range built for that combination.
